Chocolate Heaven!

I just received a notice from my Mixing Bowl newsletter about this awesome looking chocolate cake, so, even though I posted twice already today, I didn’t think you would mind if it was for a heavenly, decadent chocolate, cake recipe!  I’d love to make this one before long!…If only I had the ambition!  LOL  Will someone please make it for me!?!  You can find a link to Mixing Bowl on my Blogroll.  Enjoy!!!

Mixed Up Cookie Cake

Brief Description:
Rich cake with a mix of nuts and candy bar and cookie.
Servings :        10
Prep time :       25 minutes
Cook time :     crust 10 minutes and cake 30 minutes
Total time :      40 minutes
2 packs Betty Crocker peanut butter cookie mix, each
Chocolately chip cookies by Murray (110z)(Crushed real fine
1/2 cup mixed nuts chopped fine)
1 stick butter melted
1 can sweetened condensed milk
8 TBSP of caramel topping divided
1 large egg
1 cup water
8 each of Krackel, Dark chocolate, Mr. Goodbar (Use the Hershey’s miniature candy bars. Break these into pieces.)
10 0z bottle vanilla glaze by Duncan Hines
8 miniature milk chocolate Hershey bars sliced.
Preheat oven to 350. Spray a 13 by 9 dish and set aside. In a medium bowl add the cookie crumbs and 4 tablespoons of thepeanut butter cookie mix. Mix in the melted butter. Press cookie mixture into prepared dish. Open milk and stir in 4 tablespoons of caramel topping and pour over crust, then spread nuts over milk mixture. Bake 10 minutes. Mean while in a medium bowl add the peanut butter cookie packs, egg and water. Stir to combine. Add the krackel, dark chocolate and Mr. Good bars to mix and stir. Pour batter over crust and bake 30 to 35 minutes. Let cake cool. Spread the other 4 tablespoons of caramel on cake. Follow directions on glaze bottle and then pour glaze over cake and spread. Put sliced Hershey bar on top of cake.
